Recording Your Sirtet
Gameplay Session
Having trouble with Sirtet? Help the developer debug your issue by
recording a short video of what’s happening. This guide walks you
through the process.

video here
What You’ll Need
- Your iPhone or Android device
- The Sirtet app
- A few minutes to record the issue
Step 1: Enable Touch
Indicators in Sirtet
Touch indicators show visual dots on your screen where you’re
tapping. This helps the developer see exactly what you’re doing.
How to Enable Touch
Indicators
- Open Sirtet
- Tap the Settings icon (gear icon) at the top
right
- Scroll to the Other section
- Toggle “Touch Indicators” to ON
- You’ll see the label change to show it’s active
- When enabled, small colored dots will appear on your screen whenever
you tap
Once enabled, touch indicators will show during gameplay and are
visible in screen recordings.
Step 2: Record Your Screen
Use your device’s native screen recording tool to capture your
gameplay. Choose the instructions for your device type.
iOS (iPhone/iPad)
Adding
Screen Recording to Control Center (If Not Already There)
- Open Settings
- Go to Control Center
- Scroll down to More Controls
- Find Screen Recording and tap the
+ button next to it
- Close Settings
Record Your Gameplay
- Open Control Center
- iPhone with Face ID: Swipe down from top-right corner
- iPhone with Home button: Swipe up from bottom
- Long-press (hold) the Recording icon (red
circle)
- Tap Microphone to toggle audio on/off
(optional)
- Tap Start Recording
- A countdown (3, 2, 1) appears
- Red status bar appears at top while recording
- Play through the issue in Sirtet (try to reproduce the problem)
- Open Control Center and tap the red Recording icon
to stop
- Your video is automatically saved to Photos > Albums >
Screen Recordings
Pro tip: Record for 20-30 seconds of the actual
issue happening. Don’t record your entire game session—just the
problematic part.
Android (11 and newer)
Add
Screen Recording to Quick Settings (If Not Already There)
- Open Quick Settings (swipe down twice from
top)
- Tap the Edit icon (pencil)
- Find Screen Recorder and drag it up to the visible
tiles
- Tap outside to save
Record Your Gameplay
- Open Quick Settings (swipe down twice)
- Tap Screen Recorder
- A popup appears—tap Start recording
- Audio recording option may appear (you can enable or skip)
- Play through the issue in Sirtet
- Open Quick Settings and tap Screen Recorder again
to stop
- Video saves to Gallery > Videos or Files
> Videos
Pro tip: Record the same way as iOS—just capture the
issue itself, not a long session.
Android (10 and older)
If your Android device doesn’t have a native screen recorder, use
Google Play Games:
- Install Google Play Games from Play Store
- Open the app and sign in
- Search for Sirtet in the app list
- Tap the record icon
- Play through the issue
- Tap the stop icon
- Video is saved to your device
Step 3: Send the Video
Once you have your recording, send it to the developer for
analysis.
What to Include
When sending your video, please provide:
Your device: Model and OS version (e.g., “iPhone
14 Pro, iOS 17.2” or “Samsung Galaxy S23, Android 13”)
What you were trying to do: Brief description of
your actions
What went wrong: What happened instead of what
you expected
Optional: Filename suggestion format:
device-issue-description.mp4
Example: iPhone14Pro-stuck-after-tetromino-select.mp4
Upload Your Video
- Go to: Upload
Video
- Note: If this link doesn’t work, the developer will provide an
updated one
- Click “Add files” or drag your video onto the
page
- Your video automatically uploads to a secure location
- No Dropbox account needed—you can upload as a
guest
Privacy & Security
- Your video is uploaded securely to Dropbox
- Only the developer has access to the folder
- Videos are used only for debugging and improving Sirtet
- Videos can be deleted anytime by the developer after they’re
reviewed
Troubleshooting
“Touch indicators
aren’t showing in my video”
- Verify you enabled Touch Indicators in Sirtet
Settings before recording
- Make sure you started the screen recording after enabling
indicators
- Try toggling the setting off and back on
“I can’t find the
Screen Recording option”
iOS: - Go to Settings > Control Center
> More Controls - Make sure Screen
Recording appears in the list - Tap the + to
add it if it’s missing
Android: - Swipe down twice to open full
Quick Settings - Tap the Edit icon
(pencil or three dots) - Look for Screen Recorder and
drag it to the top section - If you don’t see it, your device may not
support native screen recording—use Google Play Games
instead
“My recording file is
too large to upload”
- Try recording a shorter segment (20-30 seconds of the issue is
enough)
- You can use your device’s built-in video editor to trim the file:
- iOS: Open in Photos, tap Edit, adjust the
timeline
- Android: Use Google Photos or Files app to
trim
- Alternatively, upload to Google Drive and share the
link instead
“I’m not sure what to record”
The key is capturing the exact moment the issue happens: - Start
recording - Navigate to where the problem occurs - Perform the action
that causes the issue - Let it play out for a few seconds - Stop
recording
That’s it! The developer can see the touch points and understand what
went wrong.
